Cancelling Before Processing
You may cancel your order at any time before it has been processed and dispatched.
To cancel, please contact us as soon as possible at contact@royalcampden.com, quoting your order number.
If the order has not yet been dispatched, we will issue a full refund, except in the case of pre-orders (see below).
Pre-Order and custom orders Cancellations
If you cancel a pre-order, a cancellation fee will apply to cover the costs we have already incurred, including:
- Reserving products and ingredients
- Purchasing special materials
- Labour and preparation time
If you wish to cancel your pre-order before dispatch, the following cancellation fees will apply:
- 25% of the order value if cancelled up to 2 weeks before the dispatch date.
- 50% of the order value if cancelled less than 2 weeks but more than 7 days before the dispatch date.
- 100% of the order value if cancelled within 7 days of the dispatch date.
Cancelling After Dispatch
Once your order has been dispatched, we are unable to accept cancellations or returns due to the perishable nature of our products.
This is in accordance with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, which exclude perishable goods from standard cancellation rights.
Refund Policy
Damaged, Incorrect, or Faulty Products
If your order arrives:
- Damaged in transit
- Incorrect
- Faulty
Please notify us within 2 days of receiving your order by emailing [your email address] with:
- Your order number
- A description of the issue
- Clear photos of the product and packaging
If the claim is valid, we will arrange a replacement or a full refund, depending on your preference.
Melted Products and Weather-Related Issues
We carefully pack our chocolates to minimise the risk of melting, but Royal Campden cannot be held responsible for melted goods during delivery, particularly during warm weather.
Please choose faster delivery options in warmer months.
Incorrect Address Information & non acceptance
Please ensure your delivery address is correct when placing your order.
We are not responsible for orders lost, delayed, or mis-delivered due to incorrect shipping information provided by the customer. We are not responsible if your order is not accepted by the recipient, if no one was available to accept at time of delivery, or any other reason why delivery failed. We will not be able to refund you in any of such circumstances.
How Refunds Are Processed
- Approved refunds will be processed back to your original payment method.
- Please allow up to 10 working days for the funds to appear, depending on your bank or card provider.
