The Permanent Collection

The Permanent Collection begins with chocolate itself.
Foundation presents cacao in its purest form, without botanicals, spices or inclusions. Every decision has instead been devoted to the character of the chocolate itself — selecting an exceptional dark chocolate with remarkable depth, balance and length.
On the palate, notes of roasted cocoa, dried fruit, gentle bitterness and subtle coffee unfold gradually, revealing layers that require no additional ingredients to create complexity. The experience is deliberately restrained, allowing the chocolate to express the qualities that made it worthy of becoming the foundation of the Collection.
Foundation reflects a simple belief at the heart of Royal Campden: that exceptional ingredients do not always need to be transformed. Sometimes craftsmanship lies in knowing when to leave something alone.
Created in small batches in the Cotswolds.
